Distribution of Wires from a Wire Magazine

wire magazine

The first system was invented 1989 in Italy, it contained of springs, held by plastic parts, gliding on linear bearings. A brass spindle locked the wires in place.
1992 the WIESER company brought this system to the world market. From then, most of the EPS machinery suppliers started to offer their own developments, based on this idea.
Nowadays the Automatic Positioning of Cutting Wires is state-of-the-art and outperforms the traditional exchangeable frame systems by far.

The cutting wire is held by springs, the power is transferred via the brass connectors. Wires which are not needed for the cutting job are parked in the magazine, unpowered.
If you want to accommodate up to 70 wires on a cutting frame, and each wire holder has a thickness of 10mm this adds up to 700mm magazine height.
